Ask any golfer where they would really like to play in the UK and Gleneagles and Celtic Manor would undoubtedly feature towards the top, if not at the top, of that list!

Successive years have seen Electrolux, the world’s largest manufacturer of kitchen appliances, invite 40 of their most important guests to Gleneagles; the Queens Course in 2005; the Kings Course in 2006 and the PGA Centenary Course in 2007 were all played in superb weather and to much acclaim by the guests.

In 2008, Electrolux moved their flagship event to Celtic Manor and the
Twenty Ten Course – the venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup. In an otherwise very wet summer – the day of the competition was, in the main, glorious sunshine and guests had the very best of conditions to sample this outstanding course.

With a stableford competition for individuals and ‘nearest the pin’ and ‘longest drive’ competitions, guests were able to test themselves, and the course, to the full.

Non golfing ladies have not been forgotten either; at both Gleneagles and Celtic Manor they were treated to a day-long range of treatments at the Hotel Spa.

The day’s events were followed by a gala dinner, prize giving and overnight accommodation. From airport transfers to prizes and branded mementos, every detail was researched and delivered in a quality manner to ensure that the guests’ visits to these leading venues would be an unforgettable memory.

Electrolux – Golf Event Days UK


Ask any golfer where they would really like to play and Gleneagles would undoubtedly feature towards the top, if not at the top of the list! In 2005 Electrolux, the world’s largest manufacturer of kitchen appliances, took advantage of this golfing fact and in June invited 40 guests to the pinnacle of their golfing desire. Posh Pig Promotions arranged for Electrolux guests to play on the challenging 5,965 yard Queen’s course. However, heavy overnight rain brought near disaster with the news that all courses were closed! Yet, as if by magic, the rain stopped and the Electrolux guests were the first to tee off that day – smack on time! A Stableford competition for both teams and individuals with ‘nearest the pin’ and ‘longest drive’ competitions added to the day’s enjoyment. Gleneagles golf courses are demanding for any level of golfer and the stunning environment was a fitting backdrop for this top-drawer event.


Team Building Events

Deloitte & Touche - Team Building Event

Deloitte has a straightforward goal: To be recognised as the pre-eminent and most trusted professional services firm, famous for the calibre of their people and respected for the exceptional quality of their work. For the past 5 years Posh Pig Promotions have arranged a variety of team building exercises for three Deloitte UK offices - Bristol, Gatwick and St Albans. The days are similar in format - a morning of formal business followed by lunch and afternoon team building. Rewarding staff for all their hard work during the year, the afternoons are given over to light hearted fun like inflatable volley ball, "It's a Knockout", assault courses, driving events, to target sports - to name but a few! On one occasion teams were all provided with video cameras and asked to make a 60 second video on a given subject. All the videos were edited and put on a master tape and shown after dinner that evening. At most events, a variety of evening entertainment is provided: Karaoke, discos and quizzes have all been popular ways for staff to let their hair down, building relationships that will strengthen further once back in the office. The fact that Posh Pig Promotions has provided this service annually demonstrates the value of team building in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. The cost is often offset by an increased understanding of the company's core values and closer inter working - leading to increased productivity.
